Horno3 is a high-tech museum dedicated to the region's industrial history in a formerly abandoned blast furnace. The museum has been extensively renovated and features state-of-the art displays on the steelmaking process. The views from the metal open-air elevator which takes visitors to the top of the furnace are well worth the price of admission.

Don't miss this place if you are in Monterrey. Very well maintained and educational. Cool views from the top.

I really liked the fact of having a tour guide. We had a girl who helped us understand the entire tour, she knew its history and every detail of the museum perfectly. I really liked having someone explain to us and be with us throughout the tour. The story is impressive and how it can be appreciated at this time.

What an incredibly rich history of the steel mill that was the early life blood of Monterrey. This museum has detailed, well documented displays describing the foundry and steel making factory. There are many interactive displays, suitable for all ages. Several presentations run throughout the day with videos and demonstrations of the different parts of the foundry and how the people worked. This is a highly educational and fun museum with plenty of activities. The ride up the coal shuttle to the top of the furnace gave a completely new perspective on the size and beauty of the park. If you are visiting Monterrey, this museum needs to be part of your trip. Plan on spending several hours seeing all it has to offer.

Very cool experience. The inside was not open because of covid, but the exterior is. If you pay for a ticket, you can get a ride up to the top of the facility in something that looks like a cage. Anyone of any age can enjoy that part. At the top you can explore the factory and see some of Monterrey from up high. I'd recommend going.

If you can, watch all the presentations and shows first before you go and view the museum exhibits... it helps a lot with the understanding and explanations of stuff. Tour guides were awesome 👌

En total el recorrido puede durar unas 3 horas.(Translated by Google)Highly recommended if you are in Fundidora Park, the price is quite affordable and the experience is worth it. When you enter they offer you free guides, they are guys doing their social service and they are quite friendly, they take you through the different areas explaining the history, the processes, etc. In the same way, one can do the tour alone, but they add some extra information to the tour that is worth it.The steel production section is interactive, which makes it very interesting, fun, but above all educational.Climbing to the top is an equally interesting experience, in addition to being able to see the mouth of the oven, it gives you very interesting views of the mountains and the city.Every once in a while they do a chain reaction demo which is interesting and fun. There is a demo of the oven available, which unfortunately we didn't get as they were doing maintenance. In total the tour can last about 3 hours.

Interesting museum. Highly recommended. Our guide, Ms. Dulce, did very well explaining everything to us in English. Do request for her if you need a tour guide in English. The view from above is not to be missed too.

This was the best place during my visit to Monterrey! Amazing history of Mine, Iron & Steel manufacturing with an interactive design. I've never seen such unique place in other parts of the world. It also offers a great view to the city from the top. Most definitely worth the time to explore this place!

Fantastic experience!!The museums in Monterrey are really struggling during the pandemic. Go help a fantastic institution while having the time of your life. While the actual museum is still closed, you can't pass the experience of getting into the unique elevator and taking a look at this place from up top. It's just magnificent.Pay only 70 pesos per person and take fantastic selfies. Make sure you read a little about this place before you go. And get a souvenir while your are there!

If you visit Monterrey, this museum is a mandatory stop, in order to understand the role of steel in that area (the development, economy, etc). It is interactive and it conserve many things of the old iron factory. Also the rooftop has a incredible view of Monterrey.

I have been visiting Mty and Fundidora for years, but I had not given myself the opportunity to enter Horno Alto No. 3. It is a true jewel. They have guides for the tour, the price is not expensive for everything that can be enjoyed and even learning interactively, in a family environment, I really liked, the strawberry on the cake, being able to climb to the top of the Oven in a rustic elevator.

Our guide was absolutely incredible, we had an amazing time touring this museum museum!

It's a big place, so I recommend to separate around 3 hours so you can truly get the most out of it. Elias was our tour guide and he was awesome! He was very informative and never boring. The tour includes interactive activities for everyone that help to keep people from all ages engaged, including the kiddos! This place is certainly worth visiting. Don't miss it if you're in Monterrey!

Great place to see a bit of history. There are 3 main shows that are awesome!I fully recommend them. There are elevators for taking you to the heights, so yo can see the city, take some photos, and even see all the mechanisms and valves that used to operate the oven.
