Press-Journal, Sunday, July 10, 1994, 7C Anniversaries Callan- Santos and Mrs. Fernando Santos Christa Kirkpatrick Callan became the bride of Fernando Elias Santos on June 4. The marriage took place at noon at the Cathedral Church of St. Luke in Orlando with the Very Rev. David C.
Lord officiating. The bride is the daughter of David and Joyce Callan of Vero Beach. The bridegroom is the son of Fernando and Florence Santos of Lighthouse Point. The bride wore a full-length satin gown with bateau neckline and basque waist. The point-towrist sleeves and bodice were of Alencon lace and tulle adorned with pearls and sequins.
Re-embroidered lace medallions and trim accented the skirt and cathedral train. Her headpiece was a wreathlike band of Alencon lace, pearls and sequins attached to a fingertip veil with back pouf. She carried a bouquet of white roses, calla lilies, dendrobium orchids, stephanotis and variegated ivy. Maid of honor was Daniela Davenport. Bridesmaids were Carrie Hernandez, Patti Callan, Linda Kraljevich, Kim Krotine and Christine Anderson.
Craig Grason served as best man. Ushers were Fred Schmidt, Luc Rivet, Douw Smit, Glen Lockwood and Mike Mercado. Shannon Smit acted as flower girl. A reception followed at Church Street Station. Guests attended from Massachusetts, Missouri, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia.
The couple left on a wedding trip to cruise the western Caribbean. Mr. and Mrs. Santos reside in Orlando. Deadlines The following guidelines are required by the Press-Journal for placement in the newspaper.

The bride is the daughter of Marian Kouspos of Vero Beach and the late Vincent Kouspos. The bridegroom is the son of Lola Schaefer of Austin, Texas, and the late Christian Schaefer. The bride wore a two-piece candelight ivory suit with embroidered lapels. Peach-colored silk roses served as her headpiece. She carried a bouquet of peach and ivory roses and tiger lilies.
Matron of honor was Connie Otterness. Keya Marie Schaefer, daughter of the bridegroom, was the bridesmaid. Steve Rice served as best man. Jay Konstantaras, son of the bride, seated the guests. A reception followed at the home of the bride's sister and brother-in-law, Mr.
and Mrs. Vince Montuoro Jr. Assistant was Misti Layco*ck. Guests attended from Texas and Georgia. Mr.
and Mrs. Schaefer reside in Central Assembly of God provided the setting on June 11 for the marriage vows exchanged between Cynthia Gayle DeLange and Roger H. Jenkins Jr. The 4:30 p.m. ceremony was performed by the Rev.
Buddy Tipton. The bride is the daughter of Sharon DeLange and Bill DeLange, both of Vero Beach. The bridegroom is the son of Betty Jenkins of Garner, N.C., and Roger Jenkins of Raleigh, N.C. Lori DeLange served as her sister's maid of honor. Laura Edwards was the bridesmaid.

The bride-elect, a 1986 graduate of Jupiter Community High School, Jupiter, is employed as a bookkeeper by Fettinger and Bloom, Attorney's at Law. Her fiance, a 1980 graduate of Hayti High School, is employed by the Air Force as an F-117A flightline expediter. The couple is planning to marry on July 23 at Base Chapel, Holloman Air Force Base, N.M.
Myerses Observe 50th The Rev. Paul W. and Cora Sitler Myers of Vero Beach, formerly of Jersey Shore, observed their 50th wedding anniversary on Monday. They were married on July 4, 1944, at Camp Maxey, Texas, by Chaplain John F. Williams.
During World War I1, Myers trained as a medical technician, serving in Europe with the 85th Evacuation Hospital. Following military service, he attended Williamsport (Pa.) Technical Institute, enrolling in the plumbing and heating course. Myers then conducted his own business in the Jersey Shore area for 11 years. In 1961, the Myerses moved to Vero Beach, where he worked for Piper Aircraft and enrolled in a ministerial course. He was ordained in 1972 at Florida Southern College at Lakeland.
Mrs. Myers is a certified lay speaker in the First United Methodist Church. They have two daughters, Carlene Myers and Sharon Towle, both of Florida, and one grandson. Family and friends will join the couple today at First United Methodist Church. The Myerses are shown (left) on their wedding and as they are today.
Francises To Celebrate 50th James H. and Mary E. Francis, the former Mary Keane, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on July 18. They were married on July 18, 1944, at Our Lady's Help of Christians Church, Newton, Mass. He was a petty officer aboard the USS P.C574, serving in the Atlantic and Pacific until the end of World War II.
They lived all their life in Newton until they moved to Vero Beach in 1989. They have a son, Dana, who lives in Doylestown, and a daughter, Susan Green, who lives in Clayton, N.C. There are six grandchildren. Francis retired from the U.S. Post Office after 33 years.
Mrs. Francis was an engineering technician at Unitrode Corp. in Watertown, until she retired after 20 years. A jubilee Mass will be celebrated in August in West Yarmouth, by the Rev. John F.
Keane, brother of Mrs. Francis. A party will take place in West Yarmouth with their children, grandchildren, family and friends in attendance. McCanns Renew Vows On 50th Hugh and Marilyn McCann of Barefoot Bay celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on Saturday with a renewal of their marriage vows at St.
Luke's Catholic Church. They were married at Holy Redeemer Church, Freeport, L.I., N.Y., on July 9, 1944. They have three children and four grandchildren. A reception will be held at Barefoot Bay Country Club for family and friends following the 4 p.m. Mass.
Their children, Robert H. of Essex Junction, Lynn G. Goetzman of Palm Bay and Mary Alice Rochefort of Rockledge, along with two of their grandchildren, will be in attendance. They were married in Vero Beach on July 10, 1954. Mrs. Meeks is the daughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. J.H.
Dodson Sr. Meeks is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin F. Meeks.
Both are lifelong residents of Vero Beach. They are the parents of Diane, Donald, Maurice and Aaron Meeks of Vero Beach and Alice Johnson of Lake Wales. They have seven grandchildren. Meeks, a general contractor, has built in Indian River County since 1963. Mrs.
Meeks is a homemaker and is employed part -time with Marvin's Management Maintenance. Mr. and Mrs. Austin Meeks Both are active in the First Church of God. Mrs.
Meeks' father was pastor of the church for 14 years. They will celebrate the day with their family and friends and a trip to Sea World. Attending the celebration were their daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Bob Taylor of Brooksville, along with other cousins and neighbors. The Roeschs were married at the Kilburn Memorial Church in Newark, N.J. on June 24, 1939. They lived on Staten Island until 1960, when they moved to North Miami Beach. Roesch had his own business, specializing in building office furniture.
He retired in 1978. Mrs. Roesch was a savings officer at Financial Federal Savings and Loan Association for 22 years. She retired in 1982. They have two grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Roesch were avid bowlers in Miami. Since moving to Sebastian in 1982, she has been a member of the Sebastian River Art Club and a volunteer at the North Indian River County Library. He enjoys making all kinds of crafts and baking, which he shares with neighbors.
