As for this holiday punch with sherbet, Boy, does this recipe take me back. I haven’t made this Holiday Punch in forever. The other day, I strummed through my homemade recipe booklet and found this. I made it last Sunday as a treat for the kids as we decorated the house. It was a huge hit. The traditional Holiday Punch with Raspberry Sherbet and Cranberry Continues.

Ingredients
- Fruit Punch Concentrate – I have noticed that finding fruit punch concentrate is not that easy to do in recent years. If you find yourself staring at the freezer section of your grocery store with not fruit punch concentrate and your are trying to figure out what to do – just grab any juice blend concentrate. Anything involving a combination of apples, cherries, strawberries, grapes, berries, and so on will work just fine.
- Cranberry Juice Concentrate – This should be fairly easy to find, but there are probably different combinations of a cranberry blend
- Lemon-Lime Soda – I usually use 7-Up, Sprite, or some generic version of one of those soda.
- Sherbet – You are looking for raspberry sherbet for this Raspberry Sherbet Punch. If your store does not have raspberry, then substitute another red or pink sherbet. You do not want to grab green sherbet because the color will clash with the red juices. You will end up with a brown punch, and that is not very appealing.

You’ll want a punch bowl to serve this raspberry sherbet punch
How to Make Christmas Punch with Sherbet
Add the soda and stir until the frozen juice is dissolved
Squeeze the concentrated juices into the punch bowl
Scoop out all or most of the sherbet (see note below)
If you want to, you can reserve a few scoops of the sherbet to add once the punch has started to lose the frothy top from the sherbet. This will revive the punch and make it look festive again
Expert Tips
Well, I’ve already mentioned this in the post, but just in case you missed it – do not substitute the sherbet for another color of sherbet unless you know that when it mixes with the red juices it will still look pretty. If you use green or orange. Try really hard to find the raspberry sherbet for this raspberry sherbert punch recipe, or at least a pink or red sherbet
You can reserve some of the sherbet to revive the punch after it has been sitting out for a while. Just store it in the freezer and scoop it out when the froth on top has dissipated
Keep empty 2 liter bottles for leftovers
Variations
You could go the complete opposite direction and make a green punch and call it Grinch Punch. You would need to find clear juice concentrates like apple juice concentrate, pineapple, limeade, white grape, and pear concentrate. Use green sherbet for this punch

Ingredients
- 2 12 oz. Frozen Fruit Punch Concentrate
- 1 12 oz. 12 oz. Frozen Cranberry Juice Concentrate
- 1 2 liter Lemon-Lime Soda
- 1 Qt. Raspberry Sherbet
Instructions
A little while (maybe about 15-30 minutes) before your party, dinner, or whatever the occasion, position your punch bowl
Add to the punch bowl, the frozen juice concentrates
Add the soda and stir until the concentrate dissolves, or if your too busy, just come back and check on it in a few minutes, then stir until dissolved
Scoop the entire container of Sorbet over the liquid and just let the Sherbet float around
Serve and enjoy!
