Background
A local store and office of Hubris Comics, publishers of classic graphic novels before the Great War. The location also served as office space for production staff and as a television studio.[Pub 1]
Publications
“This is the local store and office of Hubris Comics, publishers of classic graphic novels. In addition to the downstairs shop, the building also includes offices for the production staff a small television studio on the fourth floor.
Be sure to thoroughly inspect the store for collectibles! Look for the storeroom key in one of the cash registers and the office key in the desk upstairs. Don’t forget Grognak’s Axe in the display case, his costume by the exit ladder to the roof, and the Silver Shroud Photo and costume (the latter of which is necessary for the specified quest). There’s a prop gun hidden behind the stage backdrop, and one locked room even has an unreleased script!”— Fallout 4 Vault Dweller's Survival Guide Map
Layout
The building is small, with only four floors. The first floor features the shop, progressing to offices on the second and third floors, and a television studio on the fourth floor. The entire building is infested by feral ghouls, with a glowing one on the top floor. A terminal is available on the top floor that allows the player character to control stage lights for the Silver Shroud set and also play the Silver Shroud theme over the system speakers.

Character | Specific location | Comment |
Cait | Shop floor | "When I was nine, I stole a comic book from a caravan dealer. Must have read the damn thing a hundred times before me parents took it away." |
Top floor studio | "What's all this nonsense for?"
Codsworth | Shop floor | "Looking for the next issue of Grognak, sir/mum?" |
Top floor studio | "Why, it's the Silver Shroud sound stage. My, but it's... low budget."
Curie | Shop floor | "The human preoccupation with fiction is a mystery to me." |
Top floor studio | "A television studio. We are supposed to get autographs, yes?"
Danse | Shop floor | "I don't understand the logic in reading these illustrated manuscripts. The plots are ludicrous." |
Top floor studio | "An ancient television studio. This equipment could prove useful to the Brotherhood."
Deacon | Shop floor | "Hubris Comics. Fun reading. Been trying to complete my Grognak the Barbarian set." |
Top floor studio | "Is this really how those TV shows were made?"
John Hanco*ck | Shop floor | "Probably still good reading in here." |
Top floor studio | "This is the most half-assed gun range I've ever seen."
Robert MacCready | Shop floor | "If I could only find the issue where Mastadonald and Skullpocalypse teamed up to fight Grognak, I'd have a complete set." |
Top floor studio | "So this is where they used to film the old Silver Shroud shows. I wish I could have seen them."
Nick Valentine | Shop floor | "You know, the detective life is a lot less glamorous than the comics had led me to believe." |
Top floor studio | "Huh. So this is where they filmed that god-awful TV show."
Piper Wright | Shop floor | "You see any back issues of "Grognak the Barbarian?" I could use them for, uh, research purposes." |
Top floor studio | "Looks like we've uncovered the secret lair of the Silver Shroud."
Preston Garvey | Shop floor | "You a comic book fan? I used to read everything I could get my hands on." |
Top floor studio | "The Silver Shroud! I'll admit it, I've always been a huge fan."
X6-88 | Shop floor | "These images are a poor representation of reality. It's as if a child drew them." |
Top floor studio | "The Institute's founders frowned on television. They thought it was a detriment to science." |
