A five-year partnership between and New Zealand Bloodstock is the latest initiative from Entain aimed at boosting the future of the Kiwi racing industry.The partnership announced last night will see TAB, the New Zealand betting brand run by Entain Australia and New Zealand, taking naming rights for the iconic Karaka Millions meeting starting from the 2024 meeting on January 27.TAB will also be the naming rights sponsor for the Karaka Millions 2YO and 3YO races as well as the barrier draw function.We are also establishing a Travel Incentive Scheme: committing up to $150,000 towards a scheme to encourage Australian-based horses to run in the Karaka Millions feature events.And, as part of a drive to supercharge ownership in New Zealand, we're committing to spend at least $1.5 million in thoroughbred yearling purchases from the New Zealand Bloodstock sales in year one of the partnership for an upcoming initiative.Yesterday’s announcement follows on from Trackside Media securing a slot in this year’s A$20m The Everest at Royal Randwick in October, and recent stakes increases announced by New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing Inc, Harness Racing New Zealand and Greyhound Racing New Zealand as a direct result of our investment in the New Zealand racing industry.#partnership#racing #newzealand #experience
