I've responded to a number of questions about PHP recently so I figure I may as well post my own. Look, PHP has got problems, clearly. Nobody is arguing that, but you have to look at the big picture. With PHP you can get something built cheaper and faster than many other languages. Will it be perfect? absolutely not. Might it be good enough? yes, it might be. It might be and if you hire the right people, you can mitigate a lot of the problems inherent in the language. If you only stick to languages that are secure "and I don't even know what those are, but Rust comes to mind", then you may create a problem for your business before you even become a business. You may run out of money and time before you get to sell your product or service. As a developer, if you only stick to high end fault tolerant languages then you've boxed yourself into a corner as well. Your only opportunities are working for larger companies that can actually afford those kinds of people and/or working for small companies that have high risk of failure due to spending too much on building the product. If you want to be a top-level player at a large successful company, you have to take risks. Learn PHP, or Node or JavaScript (one of these horribly bad languages) and get working at a small startup, then stick with it while it hopefully grows larger. Don't just assume you're gonna jump into Microsoft and be the CEO one day.

What's with all the awards? I keep getting these people saying I've won an award. I figure it's gotta be a scam right? Perhaps they think I'm dumb and I'll give them all sorts of personal info to get whatever award they got. Sorry man, I don't need a trophy or whatever it is you are offering.

Great job LinkedIn. Now I click on the My Network tab three times as often. I still don't get anything useful out of it so there's that.

Yea, I’m gonna need a little more than no picture, no post history and an account created today to accept your friend request ok? You can’t just be like “hey man I just landed on planet earth yesterday and heard about this internet thing, wanna be friends?”…. Actually I take it back, that sounds amazing, can I see your spaceship?

So, out of curiosity I clicked on the link asking if I was interested in being an advisor for a company. Initially the offer seemed reasonable. Companies need advice so they ask professionals for it. I'm a professional right? 18 years in the industry. Perhaps that's worth something to someone...Here's my advice. Don't pay someone $195 a month so that maybe someone else can pay them even more to have you advise them (maybe, that is if anyone is interested). If you want more advice, just hit me up, don't waste your time with this.

See AlsoPhase 6 Premium Keygen GeneratorI am curious how actual influencers deal with this problem I am seeing. So. I've been logging my LinkedIn invites over the past couple of months. I have determined that I get about 1.7 invites per day, which is admittedly less than I thought I was getting.1.7 may not seem like a lot, but I don't check LinkedIn every day so it seems like more on the days I do check. What else I've noticed is the vast majority of the requests are people looking for work, looking to have a conversation with me about how they can assist, blah blah whatever. So, what do you all do? Just ignore them? Respond politely, no? (which often triggers a back-and-forth unwanted conversation). Also, I suspect because my name is unique people can easily guess my work email, it's not hard to do, so because of that I get lots of emails for similar things at work. Please note, I absolutely will not ever respond to any of those emails ever. If you are emailing me at my work email and it's not about my work, that goes straight into the trash and possibly also flagged as spam so, just don't do it.

I learned something today...if you put a space between every line, you write...it forces people to click the read more link.Which increases your post engagement statistics. and that is like good or something... Thanks James Mahy for pointing this out.

Hello world... FYI. I do not like sports!. I know it's hard to imagine, a guy named Dallas who doesn't like football but it's true. I don't like sports. Like not any sports at all period. Not football, not basketball, not tennis, not golf. I also don't particularly care for Texas. I've been through Texas a few times. not a fan.

Well, I don't know about much, but I do know at my current rate of follower acquisition I'll hit 30k followers sometime around the year 2066. Perhaps a photo of me from this decade will help. This is the best I can do in 1/2 hour.
